Frequently asked questions

Everything worth knowing about lessons, payments and how learning works.

Who is No mów! for?

Mainly for Ukrainians and other foreigners learning Polish — from A1 to C2. We also teach Polish citizens preparing for the state Polish-language exams, plus bilingual children.

Are the teachers Polish native speakers?

Yes — all our tutors are Polish, with a degree in philology or pedagogy and documented experience teaching Polish as a foreign language.

How long is one lesson?

An individual lesson lasts 50 minutes. Group courses (always up to 6 people) consist of sessions whose length is set separately for each course.

How do lessons take place?

Online only, via Google Meet. Each lesson has a dedicated Google Docs document with shared notes that you keep access to even after the session.

Will I have access to materials after the lesson?

Yes — all notes, exercises and materials are saved in your Google Drive folder (you get access automatically after the first booking). Folders are private between you and the teacher.

Can I take a trial lesson with no commitment?

Of course. The first lesson with any teacher is -50% off, and afterwards you decide whether to continue — no contracts, no notice periods.

How are lessons invoiced?

We prioritise convenience, including the formalities. After each lesson we automatically send an invoice to your email within 24 hours of it ending. No reminders, no waiting. Just remember to fill in your invoicing details in your student profile before your first lesson — you'll find them after logging in. 🧾

How many teachers are there at your school?

Currently only Iza teaches with us and we're keeping up for now 😀 When the need arises, we'll grow our team!
